The Hornsby High School difference
Academic excellence
We prioritise academic achievement as a core focus. We consistently outperform both comprehensive and private schools within our local area.
We encourage students to take responsibility for their learning, while knowing they are supported every step of the way.
Enrichment and diverse opportunities
Students are encouraged to engage in our extensive sporting, music, dance, debating, and enrichment programs.
Practical programs such as White Card training, Work Placement, School 2 Work, and Barista initiatives develop real-world skills and industry experience, reinforcing the importance of responsibility and excellence in professional settings.
Safe and happy learning environment
The transition into high school is thoughtfully guided through our exciting Year 7 Welcome Camp, designed to build connections, confidence, and a sense of belonging from the outset.
Leadership opportunities and experiences such as our annual ski trip further cultivate responsibility and pride, enabling students to contribute meaningfully and foster a respectful, inclusive school community.
