Bell times and attendance
Attendance
Students are required to attend school every day, whether it’s the first or last day of the term, Mondays, Fridays or days dedicated to sports carnivals, school excursions and incursions.
Consistently going to school has countless benefits – from learning, to creating social connections and improving wellbeing through access to support and quality education.
My child is running late?
It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.
All students are asked to bring their ID card with them to sign in at the office if they are running late or are leaving early for a Senior Study period.
If your child is sick or absent, please provide a reason for the absence on our Sentral Parent Portal.
My child need's to leave early?
If your child needs to leave school during the day (e.g. medical appointment), please send an email to the school with the date, time of departure and reason for absence. This will then need to be approved by a Deputy Principal before the student is able to leave school grounds.
Please do your best to schedule any appointments outside of school hours, though we know this is not always possible. Family holidays should be taken during the term breaks.
Our bell times
Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.
