Year Adviser

Meet your 2026 Year 7 Adviser - Miss Erin Hendry

Hi, I'm Miss Hendry!

As the Year 7 Year Adviser at Hornsby High School, my role is centred on supporting the wellbeing and growth of my students. I focus on getting to know them by building positive relationships and maintaining regular contact with parents and carers. I work closely with teachers and keep track of each student’s progress and wellbeing.

I also assist with attendance and any issues that might affect learning or engagement, and I connect students with resources and programs that can support them in these areas. My goal is to ensure every student feels connected, confident, and ready to do their best at school.
