Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
It is with great honour and enthusiasm that I welcome you to our new coeducational high school—a forward-thinking learning environment built on the foundational values of Respect, Responsibility, and Excellence.
Our vision is to provide a holistic education that empowers each student to realise their true potential—academically, socially, and personally. We believe that respect for oneself and others, responsibility in learning and behaviour, and a commitment to excellence in all pursuits are essential to this journey. Our comprehensive academic program is complemented by a broad range of co-curricular opportunities that enrich the student experience beyond the classroom.
We prioritise academic achievement as a core focus. Through structured reading initiatives, supervised homework sessions, and ongoing assistance with assessment tasks, we ensure that every student is equipped with the tools they need to succeed. We encourage students to take responsibility for their learning, while knowing they are supported every step of the way.
Students are encouraged to engage fully in our extensive sporting, music, dance and enrichment programs, debating teams, and a variety of clubs including games and science. These activities foster teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.
The transition into high school is thoughtfully guided through our exciting Year 7 Welcome Camp, designed to build connections, confidence, and a sense of belonging from the outset. Experiences such as our annual ski trip further enhance resilience and broaden horizons, helping students develop respect for diverse perspectives and environments.
Leadership development is central to our educational philosophy. We provide numerous formal and informal opportunities for students to lead and contribute meaningfully to our school community—instilling a sense of responsibility and pride in shaping the culture around them.
We also place a strong emphasis on the development of real-world skills. Programs such as White Card training, School 2 Work, Links to Learning, and Barista initiatives offer practical workshops that equip students with valuable industry-relevant experience, reinforcing the importance of responsibility and excellence in professional settings.
Above all, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every learner is valued, challenged, and supported. Through the lens of Respect, Responsibility, and Excellence, we aim to nurture not only successful students, but compassionate, capable, and confident individuals.
I look forward to the exciting journey ahead as we build a school community that lives and breathes these values—every day and in every classroom.
